BOLD TYPE

Bold Type is an online journal of politics, literature, art and culture. We aim to provide international as well as domestic articles bridging immersionism and investigative journalism. Simply, we find the notion of objective journalism to be a ruse – a writer can only see the world through his or her own perspective. With that in mind, our job is to provide an honest account of our experiences, and include a factual analysis, that way our readers can choose whether they agree or not. On Bold Type you’ll also find essays and media reviews tackling controversial topics and ideas; no sacred cow shall be spared.
